NOLA Neroli lives and breathes the French Quarter, but in its glorious, hope-filled era before synthetics and suffocating artificial sweeteners.

The intoxication of wild bitter orange blossoms tangling with the rough side of life, the late night trysts and the early morning inspirations. A vintage style floral highlighting timeless citrus flower top notes, a full bosomed orange blossom heart, and a creamy, dreamy finish that features my own homegrown orris roots – one of the most expensive natural raw materials on the market for perfumery. I gathered the roots in 2020, carefully sliced and dried them, and let them age to concentrate the irone content. Then they time macerated for the most exquisite orris root extract, providing a slow, intimate drydown to the fragrance without impairing the brightness of the top notes.

While the composition is well rounded with supporting characters and exalting ingredients, my intention was to revel in a neroli and orris forward perfume, so I am choosing only to print those two as the predominant notes. Feel free to let your imagination play.
