Taking the same Pot Ceylon Royale was cooked in, an old copper conditioned vessel and cooking this elixir almost immediately after the first distillation cooked November/ December 2017, we have aged this luscious oil for around a year and a half before release. The material used was almost identical to CR 1 however there was a difference in soaking times and slight changes in the temp during distillation.
The camphor is now super smooth with an immediate rich crystalline incense. The Frankincense and exotic fruit are still here but embedded within a bitter mango peel. The Walla character runs deep through this oil with a minimal breakdown in scent, turning slightly more oceanic into the dry down but still carrying good silage. Longevity is again great with over 24hrs on clothing.
