Indomalay Qi

This is a special project for JS, we cooked this oud during the first quarter of 2022. Hmmm, so what can be so special about it?
Some of you definitely remember the private oil I sold in 2022, Royal Merauke. It was a very limited batch oil and I didn’t even release it officially. This time we distilled the same batch of incense grade Papuan Merauke along with some incense grade and triple super Kelantan Malaysian wood in steel pot at different curves of temperatures. During the distillation we soaked the wood minimally, just to open pores of wood, there’s nothing barny or animalic here (as usual 😀 ), so what about smell then? It’s pure incense in a bottle, pure subisitm experience from this oil which will transport you directly to the jungle with lush greens, tiny guava hints, some rooty nuances, brown sugary smoke, tamarid, sweet molasses, petrichor and even oakmossy, a tiny amount of dampness, then the beauty of Kelantan shows up with a differnet kind of green notes, fruity but different from the a Thai or Cambodi fruitiness. This Qi oil will hit you with full energy, with the meditative effect of some bubbling high quality Merauke and Kelantan chips. The base is oudy resionous, vanillic and spicy cola-like, completed by purple florals from long time.
